Athletic Hall of Fame

Join Georgetown College Athletics for an evening of fun and fellowship as we induct the Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2008.

The event will be held on Saturday, May 17th at the new Hilton Garden Inn and Suites in Georgetown with Georgetown College alum and WKYT chief meterologist T.G. Shuck serving as master of ceremonies.  A reception-style dinner will be served from 6-7:30 p.m. with the program being held from 7:30-9:00 p.m.

Reservations at $40 each for open seating may be made by contacting Director of Athletics Eric Ward at (502) 863-8223 or eric_ward@georgetowncollege.edu  Guests may reserve a table for eight for an additional $150.

A block of rooms at a group rate of $99 per room is also available by contacting the Hilton Garden Inn at (502) 863-0099.

The Georgetown College Athletic Hall of Fame began inducting members in 1998 with the inaugural class of Donna Hawkins, Dr. Bob Davis, Kenny Davis, the late Brad Jones and the late Jim Reid.

The Athletic Hall of Fame honors former Georgetown College student-athletes, coaches or athletic staff members whose achievements have gone above and beyond those of their peers in their athletic endeavors. Each inductee is selected by the College's Hall of Fame Committee and inducted each year at the annual Hall of Fame Banquet.

The Athletic Hall of Fame has it's "home" in the campus Fitness and Recreation Center. The room houses and displays Georgetown College Athletics Hall of Fame, trophies, memorabilia and archives.
