#17 Georgetown College 85 (16-3)
#26 Voorhees College 60 (10-4)

Chris Lee scored 17 points and grabbed 12 rebounds as seventeenth-ranked Georgetown College dominated #26 Voorhees College 85-60.

In the first half, Georgetown came out with an early 20-10 lead behind seniors Craig Schoen, who was 3 of 4 and 2 of 3 from three-point range, and Lee, who scored 13 of his 17 in the first half. The Tigers took a 41-25 lead to the locker room. “I thought that Chris Lee was the difference in the first half,” said Head Coach Happy Osborne. “He was on the boards and didn’t give them second chances.”

The second half was much of the same as Georgetown shot 50 percent from the field and led by as many as 32 and ended the game on what Osborne called an important high, next facing #4 Campbellsville on the road to open conference play. “This is where we want to be when we face Campbellsville this week,” said Osborne. Game time on Thursday in Campbellsville is set for 8:00 p.m.
