Chandler, Tiger Soccer Honored by MSC (10-29-07)

College Soccer Coach Anthony Chandler was named the Mid-South Conference
Women's Soccer Coach of the Year at the annual awards banquet held Monday at
the Georgetown College Thomas & King Leadership and Conference Center. The
award is chosen by the conference coaches. Chandler, who is in his second
season overall at the helm of the Lady Tigers, has compiled a 25-10-2 record
(68% winning percentage) while also coaching the school's men's team. He has
led Georgetown to a second place finish this season in the Mid-South, with
their only conference loss coming to the top-seeded team from Lindsey
Wilson.
In addition, Chandler had seven players (two men, five women) named to the first team all-conference and nine (six men, three women) honorable mention selections.
