Softball Team Volunteers for National Walk to School Day
The
Georgetown College Softball Team volunteered at Southern Elementary School
in Georgetown on October 3rd for National Walk to School Day. The purpose of
the day is to encourage fitness and support the awareness of childhood
obesity at the local level. Thanks to Coaches Thomas Thornton and Happy
Osborne, each softball student-athlete and also to sophomore Madison Osborne
who served as our Tiger mascot, George.
