Second-ranked Tigers move to 11-0 (12-9-07)

Georgetown College moved to 11-0 on the season by defeating Alice Lloyd College in the annual KIAC/MSC Challenge hosted by Berea College on Saturday.

The Tigers took a 47-26 at the half and were led in the game by Gus Chase who had 23 points and eight rebounds. David Graham had 19 and Demetrius Guoins added 18. Point guard Jerry Turner ran the floor well, handing out ten assists and adding nine points, seven rebounds and five steals.

Corey Hairston scored 16 points for Alice Lloyd, which fell to 1-10 on the year.

The Tigers will host Ohio State-Mansfield on Sunday. Tipoff is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.

Note: Georgetown's game on Tuesday at Indiana University-Southeast has been rescheduled for January 15 at 8:45 p.m.
