Women's Tennis Moves Up to Spots in NAIA Coaches' Poll (2-20-08)

The Georgetown College Women's Tennis Team moved up to spots to No. 20 in the new NAIA Coaches' Poll released Wednesday.  The Tigers are 2-1 on the season after beating Bellarmine 9-0 and No. 23 Indiana University Southeast 8-1.  Their only loss is to NCAA Division I Eastern Kentucky University.

"I'm not surprised that we have moved up due to our quality wins so far this season," said Head Coach Kevin Calhoun, "but we are in no way finished with quality wins or happy with where we are."

Friday's match with Cedarville has been postponed due to weather, making a February 24th match at West Virginia Tech University the next opponent for the Tigers.
