Men's Streaks Continue...

Georgetown finished a perfect regular season with an 80-69 win at Lindsey Wilson College. The Tigers are now 30-0 and ranked No. 1 for the second week in a row in the NAIA Coaches' Poll. The 10-0 Mid-South Conference finish is the second year in a row for the Tigers to go unbeaten in league play and moves the Georgetown winning streak to 48-0 in regular season games. The Tigers haven't lost since their December 7, 2006 loss to Huntington University.

"The last thing we need to do is get into this (perfect season)," said Head Coach Happy Osborne. "Effective now, this is yesterday and there are more goals ahead. A national championship is always a tougher thing to achieve but to maintain a perfect year and not let anyone get you is pretty amazing."

Next up for the Tigers is a trip to Pikeville for the MSC Tournament. As the top seed, Georgetown will play the winner of the fourth seed Pikeville and fifth seed Lindsey Wilson. Game time will be Sunday at 8:00 p.m. at the Eastern Kentucky Exposition Center. (click here for boxscore)
