Ingle Named MSC Player of the Week (3-4-08)
Georgetown
College senior guard Kim Ingle has been named the Mid-South Conference
Basketball Player of the Week for the week of February 25, 2008. Ingle
scored a career-high 35 points in the No. 28 Tigers big road win at No. 22
Lindsey Wilson College on Saturday, following a 23 point performance on
Thursday in Georgetown's 86-77 win over West Virginia Tech University.
Ingle has had a storied career despite a broken hand in the middle of her senior season and has broken the career steals record with 310 steals in her four years. She also ranks third in most three-point attempts (506), fourth in three-point shots made (149) and fifth in career points (1642).
The Tigers finished the regular season on Saturday with a 20-9 record and will face Pikeville College in the opening round of the MSC Tournament at noon on Saturday.
