Anderson and Ealey Named MSC Pitcher and Player of the Week (4-1-08)

College Baseball's Anderson and Softball's
Whitney Ealey are the Mid-South Conference
Pitcher and Player of the Week for the week of
March 24-30.
Anderson, a junior pitcher from Alexandria, Ky., went 2-0 last week which included a victory over #6 Trevecca Nazarene. Anderson finished with an ERA of 2.25 and struck out six while scattering ten hits over two games. The Tigers are currently 22-11 going into this week's games versus Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond on Wednesday and at Applebee's Park in Lexington on Thursday.
Easley, a freshman from Lexington, helped lead Georgetown to a 4-0 week. She batted .556. garnering five hits in only nine at-bats. Ealey finished with three RBI's, a double and a triple, and five runs scored as the Tigers improved to 22-6 in 2008.
