Georgetown College will be hosting a TPX TOP 96 clinic for high school players on July 22-23, 2008. This clinic will feature coaches from top Kentucky colleges (Kentucky, Western Kentucky, Louisville and Morehead State) as well coaches from outside the state (UNC Asheville, Charleston Southern, University of North Florida and Wofford).
In addition to these major Division I schools, this clinic will also include coaches from DII, DIII, NAIA and junior/community colleges (Berea, Centre, Garrett, St. Joseph, etc.)
These coaches will provide hands-on instruction as well as written and face-to-face evaluations for all players and we guarantee a player to coach ration of 7:1 or better.

"I liked how the coaches spent time with each one of us during the drills," - Austin McIntosh
"My favorite part about camp was that throughout the drills, they actually made sure you were doing them right, and if not, they fixed it and made sure you understood why," - Karlin Dunlap
"I liked the hitting and pitching drills. I thought they helped a lot and I also enjoyed the video comparison to the Major League hitters," - Jordan Blair
"My family lives in Frankfort and so my youngest son and I stayed for each of the daily camp sessions. I wanted to take time to compliment this player. He was one of the first to arrive every day and was warm and welcoming to kids as well as their parents. I also observed him setting up camp stations each morning before camp was to begin. He clearly loves baseball and what made him stand out was the impressive way he interacted with so many of the kids at the camps. As a preschool teacher, I was also struck by how by the last day of camp he knew so many of the campers by first name. Again, I was most impressed and wanted to take the time to compliment a representative of your team." - Adrienne D. Willis
Campers need to bring a glove and a bat, and be dressed in baseball attire. Please bring a copy of your insurance at check-in. Also, have a form of identification on all pieces of equipment. Campers need to bring their own lunch --- beverages will be provided.
Campers should arrive at 8:30 a.m. to check in on the first day. We will need a parent to sign a medical release form and provide a copy of participant's insurance. Parents are welcome to stay and watch in the stands. Camp will adjourn at 2:00 p.m. each day.
The coach staff at Georgetown College will also offer an option for teams or groups that request separate instructional days. These can be held at the team's home facility or at Georgetown College.
Individual instruction is also an option for both campers and those who are unable to attend the set dates. The coaching staff has years of experience in private instruction and feels it is a great way for children to learn the basics of the game the right way and have the most fun doing it!
