No. 2 Georgetown College volleyball team is offering camps for the first time in recent history. The Tigers finished 45-4 and runners-up in the national tournament in 2009.
The camp in June will be Junior High for players entering the 5th grade through 8th grade. There will be instruction and drills along with "fun" activities to compliment the top volleyball instruction.
The July camp will be High School for players entering 9th grade through 12th grade. There will be advanced technical and tactical instruction with emphasis on fundamentals. There will be daily competitions to help enhance skills learned throughout.
Included in camp fee of $200 for resident or $165 for commuter is: individual instruction, access to athletic trainers, two nights of lodging (residents), meals, camp T-shirt, and tournament play.
