K.C. Massie went 2-1 over the spring break, helping the Tigers to improve to 11-14 overall and 6-1 in Mid-South Conference play.

The Lexington native worked four innings of relief to pick up the win against King College, 10-4. He allowed one run and struck out six batters in Bristol. As a starter, he pitched a shutout Saturday against MSC foe Lindsey Wilson. He scattered three hits and had seven strike outs as Georgetown won 10-0.

His efforts earned him MSC Pitcher of the Week honors, the first of the season for any GC baseball player. The Tigers return to action 3:30 p.m. Wednesday against Cumberland University, Tenn.

CU beat the Tigers 17-7 this past Wednesday in Tennessee.
