Volleyball's Liz Goodin, Kelsey Luckett and Caitlyn Kogge were honored recently for their hard work on and off the floor. The three seniors earned a 3.5 grade point average or higher, earning them NAIA Daktronics Scholar Athlete honors. Each student must be of junior standing or higher and been at the current institution for at least a semester to be eligible. This is Goodin's and Luckett's second straight year earning this award and Kogge's first. Kogge transferred from Eastern Kentucky University, making her ineligible this past season despite having above a 3.5.

The NAIA had 392 total athletes earn this award. From the Mid-South Conference, only five other athletes earned this honor. GC and Lindsey Wilson College tied with three athletes apiece from their teams receiving the award.
