Georgetown College women's basketball team was ready to erase the two-game road skid of a week ago. The No. 18 Tigers did just that Thursday at home against University of Rio Grande. They blistered the nets in a 24-2 run to start the game and broke triple digits for the first time this season.

Andrea Howard scored 22 points, while birthday girl Jessica Waddle notched 19 in a 103-70 win over the RedStorm.

Georgetown (13-6, 6-2) ended Rio's (13-6, 4-3) three-game winning streak and left nothing to doubt all night. The RedStorm got an shot in the arm offensively from Shardae Morrison-Fountain early in the second half, but could never get any closer than 15 in the final 20 minutes.

Four others tallied double-figures for GC with Devanny King and Lizza Jonas 15 each, Chelsey Johnson 14 and Gina Beining 13. King also had 11 rebounds for a double-double.
