Georgetown College football, 17-time Mid-South Conference
champions, announces summer camp dates. Back this year is the football
technique camp and team camp with the addition of a junior-senior combine.
Technique camp will be June 19-22 for ages 9-17 or grades
6-12. The cost is $275 and includes meals, lodging, T-shirts, shorts,
evaluation and guest speakers on character. Applications are due by June 10.
Team camp has been a favorite of numerous high schools in
Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio, Georgia and Indiana. Coaches can reserve a variety
of options from a three-day, two-night stay to seven-day, six-night camp. Cost
varies depending on length of stay, but includes meals, lodging, access to
fields, weight rooms, meeting rooms and class rooms. GC's national championship
staff will also be available 24 hours a day for any strategy sessions high
school coaches might want or need.
Sessions begin July 15 and run through Aug. 3. Space is
limited, so register today.
For both above camps, contact head coach Bill Cronin at
502-863-8064 or [email protected].
The combine is new this year and offers rising juniors
and seniors a chance to test skills and receive top level instruction as they
prepare for their season. This will be a one-day opportunity - Monday, June 18.
Registration is from 9-10 am with camp going 10 am-3 pm.
Cost is $20 per camper and includes a meal, position
specific instruction, 40-yard dash, bench press, pro-agility and a T-shirt. A
medical release and registration form must be printed out and sent in to
defensive backs coach Brian Landis.
All forms are available through the above camp tab. Then
