CLEVELAND, Tenn. -- Preseason No. 5 Lee University swept the Tigers with a narrow 5-4 win Saturday afternoon.

CLEVELAND, Tenn. -- Preseason No. 5 Lee University swept the Tigers with a narrow 5-4 win Saturday afternoon.

Georgetown took a 3-1 lead into the bottom of the eighth before the Flames were able to tie the score and eventually force extra innings.

GC scored a run in the top of the 10th, but Lee was able to match it in the bottom to force the game to an 11th inning. The Flames pushed across the winning run in the bottom of the 11th.

Chris Wood, Tyler Fisher, Cameron Allen and Michael Schornick had two hits each for the Tigers. Chase Ballinger went seven innings with just two hits and one run to give GC the 3-1 advantage heading into the final two innings. He had three strikeouts and just two walks in 22 batters faced.

 GC falls to 1-6 on the season.
