Georgetown College men's and women's tennis had a unique moment for the Tiger program. Both teams shutout University of Virginia College at Wise Saturday. On the women's side, GC improves to 3-2 in conference play, while the men are 2-3.

"It was quite a special day for both teams," said Tiger coach Jessica Cunningham. "Nearly every member of the team played some role in these victories.

"Junior Wesley Moses received his first college singles victory at the number six slot in solid fashion, 6-1, 6-2. It was the definition of a true team victory."

The Tigers return to action Tuesday hosting the rain out game from a few weeks ago against Cumberland University (TN) and turns around to play University of the Cumberlands (KY) on Wednesday. Match times are 2 and 3 pm respectively.
