The Board of Trustees of Georgetown College today unanimously voted
for the institution to apply to become an NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic
Association) Division II member. Georgetown is currently an NAIA member school.

Trustees which involved input from coaches, students, faculty, alumni, NAIA and

the right move for us, and a real sign that Georgetown College has deepened its
