Georgetown College volleyball starts the preseason receiving votes in the NAIA Coaches Poll picking up 87 voting points. The Tigers swing into action Tuesday evening in their second scrimmage, preparing for this weekend's Early Bird Invitational.

GC plays Madonna and University of Northwestern Ohio on Friday and then Cornerstone University and Indiana Institute of Technology on Saturday.

"It will be a good early test to see where this team is at chemistry wise and how our freshmen adjust to the college level," said Tiger coach Nick Griffin. "We had a great first scrimmage, beating Asbury. We have another exhibition game Tuesday that we hope will have more of a match feel to it so when we get to Michigan this weekend we have some of those nerves out."

The Tigers scrimmage is set for 7 pm in Davis-Reid Alumni Gym for all Tiger fans to get an early look at their volleyball team.
