Georgetown College need just 58 minutes to dispatch of St. Andrews College (0-7), including a 13-minute game where Lindsey Wise served the Tigers to a 19-0 lead. GC, just on the outside of the Top 25 at 26th, collected its fourth win of the season 25-11, 25-2, 25-11 Friday in the second match of the 4th Annual Rumpke Invitational.

Wise, a senior, had four aces as the Tigers sided the Knights out and then rolled off 19 straight points. SAC finally got on the board at 19-1, but it was too little too late then. Despite two, one-minute, timeouts, Georgetown need less than 15 minutes to finish off game two. Game three was not much longer, 19 minutes, as coach Nick Griffin got a chance to use a lot of his players.

"Top to bottom we were strong in that match," Griffin said. "We were able to rest our starters and have some valuable court time for so many of my young players."

Freshman Corri Muha led with seven kills, while sophomore Caraline Maher and freshman Lauren Schneidtmiller added six each. Senior Rebekah Moore had 10 digs. Freshman Lindsey Martindale had 18 assists to lead the way.

As a team, GC hit .469 on 34-of-64.

The Tigers return in the nightcap against Union College. The Bulldogs (2-1) were loser in the first match against Shawnee State University (5-1).

The tournament concludes Saturday with a 10 am match between Georgetown and SSU.
