Women's Soccer - Sat, Sep. 15, 2012

Bea Cameron scored midway through the first half and even though Georgetown College women's soccer never found the back of the net again, it pulled off the 1-0 win.

The Tigers (2-1) struggled some with their first touch Saturday at iHigh Field against Mid-South Conference foe Shawnee State (2-4).

"We didn't play our best and we know it, but you have to be able to win those games as well and that is what we take away from today," said GC coach Leah Crews Castleman. "We had more opportunities and our players know that. We had our second shutout of the week and now we work on a few things and keep going."

Georgetown returns to action 6 pm Wednesday at University of Pikeville.
