Neal Pawsat threw for 383 yards and four touchdowns Saturday against No. 9-ranked University of the Cumberlands, earning him his first Mid-South Conference Offensive Player of the Week honor this season.

The sophomore from Maysville, Ky. completed 25 of his 47 pass attempts without an interception against one of the best defenses in the NAIA. The Patriots came into the game averaging two picks a game.

Pawsat twice found Branden Burdette for touchdowns as well as hitting Chris Gohman and Rob Madon on the day. He is four touchdowns shy of tying the top 10 season leaders for scoring passes. The sophomore signal caller is also just less than 600 yards shy of jumping on the season passing list as well.

The win Saturday kept the Tigers undefeated and put them in the driver's seat in the MSC East.

Pawsat leads the conference in total offense per game (293.3 yards) and passing yards per game (295.4). His 19 touchdowns is second and nationally he ranks fourth in passing and seventh in total offense.
