Georgetown College's volleyball team notched two more wins Saturday inside the Mid-South Conference to run winning streak to 24-straight. The No. 11 Tigers (25-2, 12-0) won in straight sets over Bluefield (25-9, 25-11, 25-16) and host University of Virginia College at Wise (25-16, 25-12, 25-23).

"It is always good to go on the road and get wins," said GC coach Nick Griffin. "Soon enough our home matches will be over and everything will be on the road."

Griffin's sophomore powerhouses provided double-digit kills on the day. Caraline Maher had 19, Allyson Willbourn 13 and Rachel Eubanks 11. Maher played all six sets, Willbourn four and Eubanks five.

"It was good to get everyone in for these matches and also to get some rest for some of our players," Griffin said. "Volleyball can be a brutal season. We've played 27 matches thus far and still have three guaranteed weeks of play left."

Lindsey Martindale had 41 assists in the two matches, while Stephanie Gurren added 26. Rebekah Moore had 24 digs and Lindsey Wise add 13.

The Tigers return to action 7 pm Tuesday hosting University of the Cumberlands (15-9, 6-6).
