Georgetown College started sluggish Friday afternoon against Indiana Tech and then battled to a five-set loss. The setback ends the 25-match streak, oddly enough to the hands of the same team that ended 2009's 21-match streak. The Warriors (21-9) won 25-22, 20-25, 15-25, 25-23, 15-9.

"The streak was exciting, but not what matters," said Tiger coach Nick Griffin. "We are looking for measurements in how our team is doing with postseason right around the corner."

The No. 11 Tigers (26-3) will have another huge test tonight in a match with No. 5 Lee University. The Flames are the highest ranked team in the 8th Annual Boneyard Brawl, but will also be coming in off a loss to Point Park College, which is receiving votes. Match is set to start around 7 pm.

Rachel Eubanks led GC with 18 kills, while Allyson Wilbourn added 15. Rebekah Moore had 22 digs and Lindsey Wise 10. Lindsey Martindale had 27 assists and Stephanie Gurren added 25.
