It is the fourth year in a row for the Tigers, who won the regular season title, to play in the tournament championship. Georgetown has played in 11 of 12 title games in MSC history.
A slow beginning, when the Tigers scored just two points in the first six minutes, didn't factor, as Georgetown pushed a five point halftime lead to as much as 24 in the second half.
Georgetown's Vic Moses and Pikeville's Justin Hicks both scored ten in the first half. The Tigers' Demetrius Guions finished as the high scorer for both teams with 16, while Anthony Smith tallied the night's lone double-double for Pikeville with 14 points and ten rebounds.
Earlier in the night, Cumberlands advanced to the finals with a 75-56 over Lindsey Wilson. In last week's NAIA coaches' poll, Georgetown was ranked fourth and Cumberlands held the No.12 spot.
Georgetown improved to 27-3 on the year while Pikeville fell to 19-12.
