LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The Mid-South Conference Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments tips-off on Friday, March 6 at the Frankfort Civic Center in Frankfort, Ky.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The Mid-South Conference Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments tips-off on Friday, March 6 at the Frankfort Civic Center in Frankfort, Ky.

The two tournaments conclude on Sunday as the tournament champions are crowned while earning the automatic bid into the NAIA National Tournaments March 18-24.

Georgetown College is the top seed in the men's tournament after finishing the regular season with a 10-2 regular season record and will receive a bye in the quarter-final round. The Tigers will face the winner of the Pikeville/West Virginia Tech game on Saturday night at 8:00 p.m.

Campbellsville University is the top seed in the women's tournament after owning the tiebreaker over MSC regular season co-champions University of the Cumberlands. Campbellsville and Cumberlands each finished with 10-2 league marks. Georgetown will face Pikeville in the opening round on Friday at 3:00 p.m.

Prior to the opening of the tournaments, the MSC Basketball Banquet -- where the conference will honor the all-conference, academic all-conference, freshmen of the year and players of the year -- will take place on Thursday night.

Following the banquet, the Mid-South Conference Cheerleading Championships will take place at the Civic Center.
