Men's Basketball - Sat, Nov. 24, 2012

The fast and furious pace of the Running Eagles presented a problem early, but Georgetown College men's basketball settled into its game and won the 19th Annual Central Bank Jim Reid Classic. The No. 3 Tigers (7-1) rolled 100-69 over Life University (4-3).

Senior Vic Moses earned the MVP award following his second double-double in the tournament. Saturday the Lexington native finished with 12 points and 16 rebounds. Allan Thomas had another big night, this time connection on four three-pointers for 16 points. Monty Wilson came off the bench for the game-high 24 points. Garel Craig had 16 points, eight assists and seven rebounds. Mychal Parker also chipped in with 15 points for all of GC's double-digit scorers. Parker also had 11 rebounds.

The Tigers return to action 8 pm Thursday against Mid-South Conference foe No. 11 Lindsey Wilson College (6-1) in Davis-Reid Alumni Gym.
