Georgetown College women's basketball showed a lot of resolve against a streaking hot Lindsey Wilson College team Thursday night. The No. 17 Blue Raiders (4-2, 2-2 Mid-South Conference) opened up a 17-point edge on the No. 3 Tigers (4-1, 2-1). GC clawed back for the eventual 69-62 win.

"They were hot early," said GC coach Andrea McCloskey of LWC. "We all knew if we could weather that storm, we would be okay."

The second-year coach was right. Lindsey Wilson came down to earth midway through the first half and the Tigers settled into an offensive rhythm.

Lindsey Fultz led the offensive charge as four GC players scored double-digits. The junior had 17. Lizza Jonas had 17. Kourtney Tyra had 12 points and Andrea Howard came off the bench with 12.

Ashley Rainey led all-scorers with 20 points and added 21 rebounds for the double-double.
