Georgetown College men's basketball got back to its winning ways with 96-72 win over Knoxville College Monday night in Davis-Reid Alumni Gym. The Tigers improve to 8-3 on the season.

Five GC players reached double-digits behind Vic Moses' 23. Mychal Parker had 16, Deondre McWhorter 13, while Allan Thomas and Monty Wilson each had 11. Wilson led the team in rebounding with 10 for the double-double.

Demetrius Dorsey led KC with 22 points. Leon Boddie chipped in with 15 and Demond Johnson 10.

The Bulldogs showed fight at times, trimming a 20-point halftime deficit to 12 on a 10-2 run that had Tiger coach Chris Briggs calling for time.

His team found its rhythm again and the lead ballooned back to 27 late in the game.

GC now enters the finals break before returning to action 7 pm Dec. 14 hosting Kentucky Christian University.
