Vic Moses stormed out on a mission, scoring nine points in the first 10 minutes in Georgetown College men's basketball 81-68 win over Cumberland University Thursday at Davis-Reid Alumni Gym. The senior finished with 27 points and 15 rebounds as the Tigers improved to 16-5 and 8-5 in the Mid-South Conference.
Georgetown finished with two others in double-figures against the Bulldogs (8-13, 4-9). Monty Wilson dropped 16 and Deondre McWhorter chipped in with 14.
Creshaun Holt led CU with 20 points, while Charles Stewart added 16 and Jerret Towns 15.
GC returns to action 4 pm Saturday against University of the Cumberlands.
