Georgetown College men's basketball team outlasted Bluefield College in a wild game Saturday afternoon. The No. 13 Tigers (20-6, 12-5 Mid-South Conference) needed to break triple digits to avoid the season-sweep to the Rams, 104-100.
Monty Wilson scored a new career-high 33 points as four Tigers dropped double figures. Vic Moses poured in 25, to be just 75 shy of 2,000 for his career at Georgetown. Allan Thomas scored 19 and Garel Craig 15.
Byron Carpenter scored 28 for the Rams, while Kearsten Marion had 21, Devin Page 18, Josh Nesbitt 16 and Pierre Walters 10.
The Tigers hit the road for a final regular season conference series, starting 8 pm Thursday at Campbellsville and then 4 pm Saturday at Lindsey Wilson.
