The Trojans whittled down a 17-point deficit to nine. GC rallied, highlighted by a Kourtney Tyra to Andrea Howard three and next possession the reverse for a 21-point advantage.
The tandem led all-scorers. Howard had 30 and Tyra 23. Lizza Jonas finished with 12 points, six rebounds, three steals and four assists as the senior trio started strong.
