Three of Georgetown College volleyball's five juniors earned Mid-South Conference first team accolades as announced by the league office Thursday afternoon.
Rachel Eubanks, Caraline Maher and Allyson Wilbourn were part of the 15-member team. The trio of Tiger hitters are making the all-conference team for a third straight season. As juniors, they all eclipsed the 1,000 kill mark this season within a two week span of each other. This is the first season that one of the three did not receive an individual honor through the MSC.
Setters Lindsey Martindale and Stephanie Gurren and defensive specialist Courtney Grafton all made second team.
This gives Georgetown six between the 30 student-athletes honored, tied for first with Lindsey Wilson.
Former Tiger assistant and current St. Catharine head coach Jason McDannold earned Coach of the Year honors as voted on by his peers. He guided the Patriots to a 20-12 record, including 11-7 in the MSC.
