Georgetown College football team is preparing for a playoff trip to Helena, Mt. but many of those same gentleman that lead on the field every week also understand they are in college to prepare for the next step in life.
The Mid-South Conference announced Wednesday morning that the Tigers had 10 of the 124 league athletes that made the All-Academic team.
In order to be recognized, a player must be at least a sophomore with a 3.25 grade point average.
Making the grade in the classroom and on the field are Adam Campbell, Austin Crawley, Patrick Dougherty, Neal Pawsat, Joe Peake, Mikel Reynolds, David Robason, Michael Sherrard, Zach Sowder and Aaron Wilson.
