For the fourth straight time in regular season meetings Georgetown College and University of Pikeville are ranked in the Top 25. For the fourth straight time, UPike is in the Top 10 – third time second or higher.

This tightly contested rivalry naturally draws national attention and Saturday when the No. 19 Tigers travel to Eastern Kentucky Expo Center it will be for an NAIA Game of the Week. UPike is currently ranked No. 2, the same ranking it held a season ago when GC went to Pikeville. Tip is set for 4 pm, following the women's game at 2 pm.

The Bears comfortably sit atop the Mid-South Conference standings at 11-1 and 21-2 overall, while GC is tied for second at 9-4, 18-6 overall, with University of Rio Grande.

As season ago, GC ended UPike's 12-game winning streak. The Bears were on a nine-game streak when they came to Georgetown back on Jan. 16 and have currently strung seven together.

The Tigers have improved on the road as of late, after starting 1-4 outside of Davis-Reid, finished a four-game stretch with three straight wins to be .500 when traveling.

Similar to years past on this road swing, GC's Thursday night game was canceled due to weather and moved to Monday. The previous two years it has been meetings with University of Virginia College at Wise, while this year it was a matchup with Bluefield College.

Following Saturday's doubleheaders, the women and men will stay on the road to play the Rams on Monday. Game times are set for 4 and 6 pm respectively.
