Baseball - Fri, Feb. 14, 2014
With the additional snow Monday and the ever frigid temperatures for most of the week, Georgetown College baseball had to cancel another weekend set of games. The No. 23 Tigers (2-0) were hopefully to have Davenport University here Saturday and Sunday for a pair of doubleheaders, but the weather did not cooperate.
The weather is supposed to warm up starting early next week, leaving Tiger players, coaches and fans hopeful that Feb. 18 will be the first home opener as Indiana University Southeast comes to town. Predictions have the weather continuing to look good throughout the weekend, opening the door for the first set of weekend games at Robert N. Wilson Field.
Georgetown plays Saint Xavier University in doubleheaders Saturday, Feb. 22 and Sunday, Feb. 23.
