Martin Lemus tied the game with a two-run shot and then he started the bottom the eighth with a single that led to Georgetown's rally win 3-2 over Saint Xavier University. The Tigers (5-0) stay perfect on the season, but it seemed questionable when the Cougars (0-3) hit a two-run homerun in the top of the fifth.

Rick Reyes reached on an error, setting the stage for Lemus' tying shot. The senior had some extra fire power after striking out looking the previous at-bat. He drilled an 0-1 count to left leveling the game.

His single set the stage for Steven Mancilla's walk off shot. He put one into the right center gap that plated Ryan Rodriguez and gave Georgetown College the win.

Meyer went six innings, but left with the game tied 2-2. Javier Saenz pitched the seventh and Edwin Santiago took the win by pitching the eighth. The trio combined for six strikeouts and scattered seven hits.

GC had 11 hits led by Lemus, Steven Mancilla and Trey Gross who all had two.
