Craig Ramsey struck out 11 of the 15 batters he faced and Georgetown College baseball got in just enough innings for an official game in the 6-2 win against Saint Xavier University.

The No. 23 Tigers scored at least a run in each of the first four innings. In the top of the fifth, the Cougars (0-5) loaded the bases and knocked Ramsey from the game. Brett Smith came in to relieve him and got the final out, but not before two runs scored. The senior returned for the top of the sixth and struck out two of his five batters.

Four Tigers accounted for all but one of the team's nine hits. Tyler Coker, Trey Gross, Nick Kociolek and Ryan Rodriguez had two hits each.

Georgetown runs its record to 6-0 and has one final home tune-up game before welcoming No. 10 Cumberland University for the first weekend of Mid-South Conference action.
