Georgetown College is proud to announce the launch of a new Tiger athletics logo as part of its era of renewal. The logo has been refreshed to reflect today's Tiger athletics program and to symbolize its dynamic future.
"Logos and brands are always being updated for that newer look that will keep things fresh," said GC Director of Athletics Brian Evans.
"We wanted to build on the strength and pride of our current image, while also sprucing it up. Through all the stages and mock ups we went through, I could not be more pleased with the end result."
This was not a decision made lightly. Georgetown College is proud of its rich history and wonderful athletics successes across-the-board. This enhanced look makes a bold statement in support of the excellence that is Tiger athletics.
A lot of work was put into coming up with this new logo. It reflects GC as a whole and captures the college's energy and passion for competitive intercollegiate sports.
The logo was created in-house by GC's senior graphic designer Laura Hatton.
In the coming months, Georgetown will be updating team uniforms, retail merchandise, marketing literature, online presence, etc. with the new logo.
