The Tigers (26-6) beat arch-rival Campbellsville (26-7), 64-61, Sunday in the finals of the Mid-South Conference tournament in Frankfort. In the process, sophomore Vic Moses joined the 1,000-point club.

With 8:35 remaining in the game, the Lexington native had a stick back to give him 1,001 in his college career. He finished with a team-high 19 points. Moses helped the GC Tigers claim a seventh MSC tournament crown. It is also the 19th straight season for a trip to the NAIA tournament and 29th trip to the big dance overall, where he will look to build upon his 1,002 points.

Hollis Giles secured the win down the stretch with clutch free throw shooting as the senior finished with 16 points.

CU's Nestor Colmenares finished with a game-high 38 points, 25 of which were in the second half. He was a rebound shy of a double-double.
