The Georgetown College Student Government/American Red Cross Blood Drive will be held on Friday, February 6th and Saturday, February 7th. This semester's drive adds to the Georgetown rivalry with Campbellsville University, as both schools will compete to raise the most blood donations.

The collection site will be held in the Hall of Fame Room from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Senior women's basketball player, Katie Filiatreau, has served as organizer of the event for the second semester in a row. She expects a big turnout given the rivalry between the two Tiger teams. "We have worked hard to get the word out and have asked for donors to set up appointments but expect walk-ins to help drive our numbers."

To make an appointment, contact Katie by emailing kfiliat0@georgetowncollege.edu

Shown above, Katie asks for volunteers at the Rotary Club's weekly meeting on Tuesday, with Rotarian Larry Prather.
