Georgetown, Ky. - Host Georgetown College fell to NAIA Division II's Daemen College 86-73 in the first day of play in the 15th Annual Habitat for Humanity Classic.

Georgetown, Ky. - Host Georgetown College fell to NAIA Division II's Daemen College 86-73 in the first day of play in the 15th Annual Habitat for Humanity Classic.

Daemen led by ten, 49-39, at the half and never looked back. Senior forward Sarah Bogardus led the Wildcats with 26 points, 21 in the first half. Georgetown's Jayme Gilbert scored 22 for the Tigers.

In the first game of the classic, Campbellsville beat Walsh 75-63 after trailing 31-29 at the half. The Lady Tigers were led by Melly Heaton with 22 points. Whitney Ballinger had a double-double of 15 points and 11 rebounds. Walsh's Kristi Yoder tallied 13 points as the Cavs fell to 1-2 on the year.

Saturday's games will feature Campbellsville versus Daemen at 3:00 followed by Georgetown and Walsh. All proceeds from the two-day classic benefit the Scott County chapter of Habitat for Humanity.
