Lindsey Wilson College's softball pitcher Casey Bryan held Georgetown College to just five hits Saturday in game one. It was enough to give her offense a chance to get a 2-1 win at Tiger Softball Complex.

Georgetown (12-7, 9-4 MSC) had been averaging just shy of 12 hits a game. The Tigers manufacture a run to make it interesting in the bottom of the fifth. Katie Young got on and then stole her way around with two outs. Unfortunately the top half of the inning, Sydney Fourman led off with a solo shot for a two-run cushion for LWC (26-6, 10-3).

The pair returns for another battle around 2:30.

Chaselyn Allgeier, Shelby Engle, Cassidy Taylor, Rachel Simms and Marissa Massie tallied the five hits. Several solid defensive plays were made on both sides in the Mid-South Conference tilt.
