Acrobatics & Tumbling - Tue, May 12, 2015

Christina 'Madi' Webster becomes Georgetown College's second acrobatics and tumbling team signee. The Odon, Ind. native has been part of the USAG national trampoline and tumbling teams from 2011-14. She competed with the junior squad for the first two years and the senior team in 2013-14.

"I'm really excited to have Madi join our Tiger program," said GC coach Alicia Castagneto. "I really feel she is the right fit overall. She is comes in with a strong trampoline and tumbling background. She excels in the classroom and has her feet solidly rooted in her faith. Those are three components I think are most important for any student-athlete with which I want to work."

Webster was the World Age Group Championships Women's Double Mini Champion in 2013, age 15-16, and 2014, age 17-18. She is an active member in her school's FCA and was the Beta Club president.

"Madi is well-rounded and highly motivated," Castagneto said. "It is exciting to see this team start to form."
