12th Annual Jim Reid Classic was held over the weekend in honor of the late Georgetown College coach and student-athlete. The Georgetown College Men's Basketball Team won the men's classic after defeating Tennessee Temple (106-65) on Friday and beating Lambuth (104-98) in the Saturday final. The Lady Tigers also fared well, winning both of their games, over Taylor University (72-54) and Martin-Methodist College (78-62). Amy Schiller and Jayme Gilbert were named to the all-tournament team and Maddy Lewis was named the Most Valuable Player in the classic.

Coach Osborne designated his entire team as MVPs after beating 12th-ranked Lambuth in a tough matchup in the tournament finals on Saturday night.
