Jess Slonim of Turpin High School in Cincinnati has signed a letter of intent to play basketball at Georgetown College. Lady Tiger Coach Susan Johnson plans to play the 6-2 senior at forward, "as she drives well, can block shots and also shoots well from 3-point range." She scored her 1000th high school career point earlier in the season. Pictured with Slonim at her school's signing ceremony on Monday, February 12, are her parents.

In addition, on Tuesday, Johnson expects to add another student-athlete to her roster when she will officially sign 6-1 post player Emily Drees of Notre Dame Academy in Northern Kentucky.
