Austin Colliver won a thrilling five-seed singles match in tiebreaker fashion for the lone road point Tuesday against Campbellsville University. The senior beat Johan Fuzellier, 6-4, 1-6, (10-7).

He and Kaushik Kailash teamed up in doubles and were just three games from a victory over Airian Sabrojo and Victor Aulbeck.

"It's tough inside our conference, but we just keep fighting," said GC coach Michael Cunningham. "We are so young, if we learn now we are better in the near future. I see good things on the horizon with this team."

Freshman Ryo Takeda had another solid battle with the opposing team's top player. Vladyslav Ladygin won in straight sets, but fought for the 6-4, 6-2 win.

Cole McCreary made it interesting in set one, winning four of the 10 games before falling 6-1 in set two. A.J. Berk also dropped the first set 6-4.

Georgetown returns to action 3 pm Thursday hosting Cumberland University on Senior Day.
