Georgetown College Women's Cross CountryTeam's Brittany Chesser has qualified for the NAIA National Championships which will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2007. This meet will be the 52nd annual men's and 28th annual women's championships and will be hosted by the Kenosha Area Convention and Visitors Bureau in Kenosha, WI.

Georgetown College Women's Cross CountryTeam's Brittany Chesser has qualified for the NAIA National Championships which will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2007. This meet will be the 52nd annual men's and 28th annual women's championships and will be hosted by the Kenosha Area Convention and Visitors Bureau in Kenosha, WI.

Chesser, a sophomore from Louisville, qualified with a time of 19:35 in the Mid-South Conference/Region XI Championships held on November 3rd in Nashville, TN. She finished second in the conference behind Campbellsville's Miranda Meeks, who completed the race in 18:34.

In the team competition, the Georgetown women finished third in the MSC and fifth in Region XI and the men finished fourth in the conference and fifth in the region.

Chesser and fellow sophomore Lucas Garnett were named to the MSC All-Conference Team, while teammate Beth Ewing was awarded the Champion of Character Award, a new honor given by the conference.

This will be the second national championship race for Chesser.
