The Georgetown College Women's Cross Country Team is getting used to following a freshman after Britney Chesser led them to another first place finish in the Berea College Invitational.

The Georgetown College Women's Cross Country Team is getting used to following a freshman after Britney Chesser led them to another first place finish in the Berea College Invitational.

Chesser finished second between second place Lindsey Wilson's Stellah Sang's 18:58 and Monicah Maiyo's 20:47, with a time of 20:08 in the race. Midway College finished third in the team standings followed by Berea and Pikeville.

In the men's race, host Berea College won followed by Lindsey Wilson and Georgetown College. The Tigers were led by seventh place Lucas Garnett with a time of 29:13.
