Women

The women moved to 12-8 and 3-2 in the MSC with a 63-51 win over St. Catharine. Sophomore Gina Beining was the player of the game after scoring 21 points and grabbing seven rebounds.

Coach Susan Johnson was frustrated by her team's effort, despite coming home with the victory. "Any win is good but I am extremely disappointed in our effort."

Men

The sloppy women's play carried on into the nightcap when the Tiger men dropped the second road game in a row, with a 92-87 overtime loss and fell to 15-5 overall and 3-2 in the MSC.

"We gave up 62 percent in the second half and you aren't gonna win, I don't care who you are," said head coach Happy Osborne. "You can't beat 62 percent."

Up Next

Both teams return home for a date with Lindsey Wilson on Saturday. The women will tipoff at 2:00 p.m. followed by the men at approximately 4:00.

"Every game is a must-win game and Saturday is one. We have to regroup...it's not easy but we have to be tougher. There are things we have to do better. We aren't going to be a team looking for excuses," said Osborne."
